Create File (eg. size 1GB).

Set permissions.

root@server:~# chmod 0600 /swapfile

Set up swap space.

root@server:~# mkswap /swapfile

Activate Swap space.

root@server:~# swapon /swapfile
</code>

Edit fstab

root@server:~# vim /etc/fstab

add:
